This.

With the huge loss of Ferguson and Miller, Cincy may actually have a better chance at the title next year than Memphis.

With Norvell locked up it would seem Memphis is now setup to dominate AAC football for years to come. There are no guarantees but Memphis appears to be in good shape. What job offer would Norvell accept to leave?

When is the last time Memphis won a Conference Championship?

When is the last time Memphis could beat UCF let alone dominate?

If our kicker had been more accurate, it would've been this year. UCF got lucky.

Don't run your mouth too much. It wasn't that long ago UCF pulled an 0-fer.

If we didn’t throw two picks in the end zone we blow Memphis out. See how this works? We’ll take the occasional bad season to win 60% of the AAC championships!

I'm thinking peeps wrote us off when Paxton Lynch and Justini Fuente left, as well.

Norvell isn't leaving. Miller is great, but we have enough volume in really good returning WRs to cover the loss. The key will be if we can get a serviceable QB. I don't think David Moore is the answer.

OTOH, Norvell has said many times that his offense doesn't require a great QB to make it run correctly. He just needs a QB good enough to distribute the ball to playmakers. As great as Ferguson was passing, he wasn't very mobile, and essentially took away the R from the RPO.

A replacement doesn't have to put up Riley Ferguson numbers to be effective. We may not score as quickly (averaged 2+ minute scoring drives all season, iirc), but we will still score a lot.

I'm not writing you off (it would be dumb to do so), I'm just saying the West is back to running through Houston.

I'm not convinced. Didn't King and Oliver just lose to Tulane?

That's what young, inexperienced teams do. We also beat USF, showing that the potential is there.

Potential is different from taking over the division in December, 8 months early

Find a QB, and then get back with me.

Do we have to go over this again? We received the original full sized trophy due to clinching a week before UCF and Cinci. The smaller replicas were sent out respectively to each school the following week.

I'm aware. But when you lose the most prolific QB-WR combination in school history you can't be considered a shoe-in for domination.

Oh no sir. We got the full sized trophy from what I understand. It was you and Cincy that got the 3/4 sized ones. Yeah, we also were the ones that went to the designated bowl for our champion that year, as well as finished ranked T25, unlike any other AAC team... 07-coffee3
