AAC bowl games
We struggle to get the respect that we should receive as a league. UCF, Memphis and USF are rated much lower than we should be by the committee. The only way to change that is to win our games against any P5 opponent and do it in a dominant fashion.

If we want national respect, we need to dominate these games, not just squeak by a team from the "p5".

Hindering us will be changing coaches for some of the schools. However we do have the talent to win.

I remember when the Jets played the Colts in Super Bowl 3 between the NFL and the AFL. Up until that game most believed that the NFL was much more talented and that the AFL was an inferior league. The Jets and Namath controlled the game and changed peoples perspective forever.

We need to win these games and we need to win them handily. Take no prisoners. Dominate. As Conan the Barbarian says, "Crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentation of the women!"

That is the only way to change the narrative.

i appreciate the Iowa State fans. They seem to be a good group of classy fans. We should treat them well when they come to the Liberty Bowl, welcome them with southern hospitality. Share our beer, offer them ribs and tell them good luck.

But between the lines, I hope our team goes out and lays 50 points on them and beats them by 30.

Then after the game we can share our condolences with them and offer them another beer in friendly companionship.

However, on the field itself we need to dominate to change the bias we are seeing. Respect is earned. Go Tigers!

With our coaching staff intact, our chances of beating a good P5 handily are better in this game than they have been in some time.
