one Mizzou game had about 1,000 fans on the visitors side......
one Northwestern conference game was played in front of NOBODY....
BUT these schools get Bama, Auburn, Meechigan and Ohio State at home, so "seasoned" ticket sales are always high.....and the effects are minimal because of all the dough Bama, Auburn, Meechigan and Ohio State brings in to the conference.
USM has to live with Charlotte, Old Dominion and Rice...

I can tell you that lsu inflates their numbers. Maybe similar to what usm use to do. Ive see attendance listed at over 101k when maybe half of the east upper deck was full. Maybe half.

USM may have over inflated the "figgers", but it is obvious when you compare game day photos from last year to this year (much less from 2012, when the ECU crowd of 33,000 WAS 33,000, because the place was nearly full), attendance was way down. I bet 2-3,000 folks were still tailgating while the games were played...what's up with dat?
In 10 years there will be no one going to live sports contest such as college and NFL football. 1. Those 30 years old and younger don't care about it. They don't watch sports 2. It is too easy to stay home and watch it via streaming. What will happen is the "at the game" fan base will die off. Bama fans are the exception as they have no idea how to watch a game via streaming.

I mostly agree with that sentiment.....it's a dead horsey now, but they really ****** up taking away tailgate/parking access by replacing with mausoleums.....
we live in 'fairy dust thumbtappin' land'

dang it.. you took the school joke and put Bama in there.. I was going to say the BullPuppies were going to attend, cause their choices were football games or cowtipping...
