Based on how the past 2 years have gone, I’m thinking getting good seats won’t be an issue. It’s going to be a buyers market.

The reseating process as I understand it currently, is that based on your points this year you will be put in order to select. This will be the last year they are allowed to use points to do a seating for tickets / seats. Once you select your seats they will be yours as long as you pay the seat reservation fee along with the ticket cost. Then you will have to make a donation to ODAF for the other amenities such as (Tailgate spot, BBR, away tickets, etc.). The final prices for seats have not been determined yet but you should plan on a cost for prime seats 40-40 yard line sections to be in the $400 to $600 per seat depending on side. This price would also includes the ticket. The Donation to ODAF will depend on what tailgate lot you would like to be in and if you want BBR / VIP, etc. I am sure much will depend on how this season turns out. It is not a good time to be asking donors to pay more money considering the product that has been put on the field.

Maybe. They are going to use football as a test to see if it will translate to basketball. If they are serious about this brave new world they need to have an idea of what the basketball seat fees would be so people can budget accordingly.

Basketball seat fees? What the hell is that! I’ve been going to Monarch basketball games since 1971. They add even more fees to what already seems to go every season as is, I’ll be done and I know the rest of our group will be too.

You already pay basketball seat fees if you donate to improve your seats or to get into the Big Blue Room. It's just categorizing it differently due to the changes in tax law.

How the hell do some of you get all this inside info?? Not complaining, glad to have it. Just curious how so many "fans" know so much.
Is this all common knowledge?

This is the reason I joined this site in the first place. I always find out everything here first. The personalities is a nice side bonus

NEW stadium construction
If they raise the cost significantly- it will cause major issues in attendance for football.
Especially after the current years product.

I had lunch with Chris Schaefer from ODAF back in like August. That’s when I found out about the separation of seating from hospitality bit. I don’t think it’s a great secret but that it’s coming but he did say they will still working on it. I voiced my concerns, mainly that I’m about tapped with respect to ODAF giving/ticket pricing and don’t think I’m alone, but will take a wait and see approach with the new setup. I’m hardly a big donor. If they call or email you return the message. It’s not always a shakedown.

Yep hearing very close to the same and was having trouble putting my arms around it. Thanks you explain it better. The making another donation for tailgating and BBR privileges was throwing me off.

Hope ODAF’s plan is well thought out and based on sound reasoning. If not, the folks handing over their hard earned money are going to walk to make a point. They better not get greedy or they’re about to learn a lesson.

Depending on price, I kind of like the idea of buying amenities separately. Kind of ala carte sports shopping. I don't really care about BBR and I am starting to tire of tailgating. If spending the same amount on a seat reservation and ticket will get me a better seat, I'm all in.

As long as the equation makes economic sense, I’m all in too. I don’t mind paying the going price for the good/service. But they better not over reach.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I didn't even get a tailgate spot this year. With my kids baseball and stuff taking over my life tailgating is pretty much done for me for the next 8 to 10 years. At least doing it in an enjoyable fashion. It's just no fun right now with the very limited time available.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.

Has anyone seen the “Founders Club” section they’ll be adding? It’s really nice. Expensive for access, but nice. From the latest renderings I’ve seen and understanding we have a budget, I’ll be happy with it. You can’t please everyone, but they’re getting a lot of bang for the buck.

So if I'm reading this correctly, I need to jack up my donation more this year (2018) to get my seating spot for the 2019-2020 season? Or, will I be able to donate before the season next year and pledge as usual, and then my seats selection will be based off that?
