I disagree. Until we get the new end zone and a nice press box it will look unfinished. It can look finished without suites but the modular home press box and ugly end zone scream old and/or temporary to me. I’m
Fine with 22k, but wish it had been higher so capacity would be more than JMU and NSU.

RE: NEW stadium construction
Speaking of what to do with the bricks when they are removed. I'm all for the bricks (new or the removed ones) being sold for dedications...either on the facade or just on a pathway or for a patio somewhere on the grounds.
If that isn't feasible I'd buy one of the removed bricks as a souvenir of Granby, Neptunes, Oyster Bowl football games and a Crosby, Still and Nash concert!

I could be wrong, but my assumption is ALL bleachers will have railbacks except the student section. All premium seats will be chairbacks.

Last number I saw was 22,000 but who really knows.

In correct...not all seats will have seat backs. The budget came in too high for all seats to have seat backs. Only 40 yard line to 40 yard line will have seat backs. Those seats will likely demand a premium set price.

Thanks, not sure where I heard that. Being too hopeful, perhaps

At one time that was the plan but the cost came in too high and they decided to back off the original plan. The stadium will still have much more leg room and seat width so that will be an improvement. Honestly seat backs are not that important as along as there is enough width and leg room.

Heard through the grape vine that there will be a legacy brick program for the stadium. And we should get more details next month.

Why so late? Will the money still be able to be added directly to improving phase one of the stadium or has that ship sailed?

Do we know what the final plans are? I wonder if they are so bad that they're just gonna build it and not show us the finished product.

What other opportunities?

Lockers, signage, display cases, etc.

Oh wow! So they did chose this design with a 20k cap? I looks bigger than the current FF. I can deal with the 22k cap for now, I guess I'm happy that it looks bigger and grander then what we have now.

I’m looking forward to the renovated stadium and the start of a new season. Next year can’t be any worse than this year. Although the VT win was euphoric.

1-11 for 2019 07-coffee3 would be worst than this year.

We open against norfolk state next year, so we should start the season 1-0! But, clearly, nothing is a given at this point. I’m looking forward to not seeing the port-a-johns at the stadium next year. Got to focus on the little victories04-cheers
