The year before Missouri (w/o Heupel) averaged 500 YPG. So, there's that.

In the meantime, Heupel (as Utah State OC) had them averaging 24 ppg in 2016. (down from 29 ppg in 2015 and below the 31 ppg in 2017).

Shannon is bringing Corey Bell with him. Guess when two schools are paying you, one can get you for cheap.

That's not how I recall Fuente or Norvell. Plenty in the national scene had them on their short lists of top coordinators ready for a HC gig. There were plenty out there.

I've been reading a lot of those lists this year too, and Heupel has not been on any of them.
