College football sources indicate the @ricefootball search has zeroed in on Stanford AHC/OC Mike Bloomgren. Announcement expected later today.

No question he is a skills developer. He has turned several Stanford preferred walk-on offensive linemen into first round draft picks, the most recent of whom was Castro.

I hadn't realized he was assistant head coach. I also like that he has NFL experience as the Jets OL coach back in 2007 - '10.

Let’s just hope this is really true.

The tweets have gone from "deal is being finalized" to "headed that way but not yet done deal".
