Army Football Honors 10th Mountain with 'Pando Commando' Uniforms

Interestingly I was assigned to the 2/87th in Mainz, Germany in the early 1980's and wore the unit crest that is on these uniforms. At that time the 2/87th was a mechanized infantry battalion and our mission was to protect the Fulda Gap from a Russian invasion during the cold war. Our motto was "Kill Tanks". My battalion commander at the time actually went on to eventually command the 10th Mountain Division as a two star general (and retired as a three star). He was a great leader and we had a really good battalion. Fun times.

GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY!!! (the only game of the year that I support a team other than the Rockets -- guess when Army plays Air Force the same is true as well).

Still on my bucket list. Suppose I'd best get moving before the bucket tips, lol.

Going to look pretty cool those unis against the Navy ones shown in another thread.

Best Army team in years. But if Navy receivers wear the new, undectable “stealth” unis they could be very tough to beat.

Didn't Army win last year? Was fairly recent after losing more times in a row to Navy than BG has lost to Toledo - hard as that is to believe. But still counting with BG...

I thought that last second field goal by Navy was good all the way - then it wasn't. Good thing it wasn't played in the Carrier Dome - it would have been good. And on replay as well.
