Quote:Electronic records show Peter Strzok, who led the investigation of Hillary Clinton's private email server as the No. 2 official in the counterintelligence division, changed Comey's earlier draft language describing Clinton's actions as "grossly negligent" to "extremely careless," the source said.

The shift from "grossly negligent" to "extremely careless," which may appear pedestrian at first glance, reflected a decision by the FBI that could have had potentially significant legal implications, as the federal law governing the mishandling of classified material establishes criminal penalties for "gross negligence."

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, raised questions over why the change was made after receiving documents from the FBI last month, but the identity of who was behind the edit has not been reported until now.

Isn't that sweet.

Good Lord. This is pure craziness. If ever Mueller wanted to prosecute something with teeth, here it is.

at least Lerch fired his arse.....

'course, I'm certain he knows what's coming down the road.....

what a ******* joke....

not a soul saw this coming.....

Except “they” didn’t fire him.

#2 guy in his department has been “reassigned”.

So this naked partisan hack is now likely pulling down the same 150,000 a year (?) pushing pencils around his desk with the 22 YO NoVa grad G-3’s making 25,367 a year.

Nice work if you can get it, I guess.

Swampity swamp swamp swamp...

this swamp battle has just begun.......

but yeah, a slight faux pas on my part....

Am I the only one who thinks those two terms mean the same thing. What's the difference? Is it like the difference between having your toe behind the line, and having a toe on the line? WTF

They mean the same thing. Legally they are the same thing. Changing the language did nothing more than that, change the language.

Forget the head, this entire fish was rotten from the start.

So what are you going to say when she's still not being prosecuted?

That Xe’ll still not ever be president or anything else again either?

Frankly, that works well enough for me.

What it did was remove the very language of the violated statute itself.

The language reads “grossly negligent” possession, or actions or something.

While yes, most would agree they essentially mean the same thing, that would have been unavoidable, even for the dopey complicit media. This provided enough wiggle room and an out.

Much like we were told here that she was never under “investigation”, by the FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION, why?

Cause it was a “matter”. Presumably by the Federal Bureau of Matters. Lol

And some bought that load of schit hook, line and sinker. Unreal, really.

Nope. The facts themselves didn't change, and this change wasn't just this guy changing it with no input by others. He just happened to be the one who changed that phrase on the shared document.

She still won't be prosecuted, and despite being in the single most powerful position to encourage such a prosecution, Trump will still blame other people for her not being prosecuted. And the peanut gallery here will still lap it up.

What criminal activity...and the Mueller investigation is still in process and is far from over. It needs to continue regardless of the end result.

This whole thing reminds me of a kettle that is just simmering, but waiting to go full boil. I just have this feeling that we are nearing a major eruption somewhere. I don't know whether it's Trump, or Hillary, or Comey, or Mueller, or the whole lot of them, but I think somebody is going to get hammered. I think my preference would be all of the above.

Look for Jared to get it next...followed by Don Junior. My guess is that trump was just smart enough to make sure he has just enough plausible deniability.

I don't think Trumps as smart as you. I do think that just like Hillary, he's got enough people to cover and lie for him if caught red handed too. His voters are as assuredly not going to accept he's ever done any wrong as her's.

But yeah, Jared and Jr are probably both on borrowed time.

"They will do it again." Why the FBI must be held accountable.

There's no end to the bridges that team trump will burn in order to carve for him a legacy of supposed legitimacy. Sad.

Media.
Party Establishment.
Allies.
Intelligence Agencies.

And several more I'm sure.

Finally today there were a few Rep congressmen bringing it out in the open as to why Killery and her gang have not been held accountable for their sins. They said that there wasn't any Tit for Tat in investigations. I'll bet you won't see it anywhere publicized but at the Fox network.

they don't have an out......they've been playing 2-7 hoping for a 2-7-7 flop for too long now....

now it's our turn to take a stab at real change.....

the market likes it.....if you work and save, that seems like a pretty good deal to me.....

this robin hood bs has come to a head......

it's amazingly stupid how the left doesn't understand (nor care) about protecting the USD.....

welcome to how you fight biatches (obviously, that's not directed at you)
