NO team should EVER get a pass to the semifinals after having not made the first cut, which is their regular season division standings.

I want to see a(n admitted) pro sports league try to pull this off:

“Yeah, Los Angeles, you won your division and all, but the 3rd place team out of the East has a better record in fewer games, so they’ll be getting that 1st-round bye. You’ll be playing the wildcard game.”

I agree with letting in all the champs even the G5 champs. Had an Auburn fan that was a dumb idea. Told them they needed to contact their AD. If the almighty SEC is too good to play a G5 team in the CFP they don't need to play'em during the regular season.

you're right.....it simply pissed me off before the current format was finalized.....there is a shiteload of subject matter starting in '11 on the realignment board that many posters discussed before it was finalized....it's why I found this forum and began posting.......my, how thingys still haven't changed

I guess I still harbor some resentment (at least they're finally talking about 8).....

I actually had an SEC fan tell me today that the SEC was down this year and that Bama did not deserve to go. Actually said they'd put UCF in there before Bama. I almost passed out.

I got a bad feeling about UCF and Auburn.

I don't disagree....I simply see a 3-7 pt differential either way.....

if you watched the post game interview of the UCF game from Frost, he was in tears and simply stated (twice), "I just want to go talk to my team"

they have a month to prepare for this one.....I think it's going to be a great game....UCF has been pretty dayum good this year too....

To be honest I haven't watched them play a down. I would love it if they would bust Auburn's ass.

With Scott Frost gone, I dunno. Certainly a high-powered offense......questionable defense.
