I've watched it maybe a 100 times over the years...now that we raised the bar in football can we blame Tommy for not being able to keep a coach!!!

Porter's introductory press conference should be played on a loop in the HoF. Just for ***** and gigs.

Could you imagine running the Memphis twitter account back then? "They suck but we don't know what illegal formation is. 50-3. See y'all next week."
I have to give credit to the girl that runs the Grizzlies accounts. 11 losses in a row and she still keeps it fun.

LOL at Bob Winn's deer in headlights look at the end. It was like...uh...what do I say after that? I'm glad we have built the program up since then.

I'll say this, he's a good position coach. There's a reason he's still working. Some guys just don't have that head coach gene. Have to recruit, have to build a board, have to hire position coaches, administrators, make sure your secretary knows what kind of coffee you like. You get done with practice and have to go to a press conference, then a coaches show. Takes a toll.

Sometime between that Jackie Sherill argument and the end he lost some of the fire. It takes a lot of fire and motivation to get out there and do it every day.

I'll also add this: Shirley Raines should've never had any part in hiring or firing coaches.

How do you do that? I'm 25 and even I don't know how to do that. Doesn't mean the OP or I are lazy...

If you press the "reply button"

You'll get a user interface that has buttons for making text bold, italicized, etc... There's options to change font, text size. color and everything.

On the right hand side there is a little TV [Image: television.gif] with a drop down box next to it. Select the source of your video from the drop down box (nine times out of ten it will be youtube) and then paste the web address of the video into the dialogue box that pops up.

Easy.

We're getting where I thought we'd be by about a decade ago, but he lit a fire that was only briefly extinguished.

It's weird being old enough to recognize that forum posting skills and social media skills are so wildly different that people under a certain age aren't familiar with the interfaces.
