Stanford went 9-4 and is ranked 13. SDSU went 10-2 and beat Stanford, yet is unranked. At some point, the games should matter. The "eye test" should only be used when two teams do not play each other, and have similar records.

But the SDSU SOS was so weak. How could the committee award such a cowardly season?

Yes, that means they used theirs eyes to read the names on the front of the jerseys.

At some point CFB fans need to take back the game. The blatant disregard for any semblance of fairness has never been more evident than with the CFP committee's actions this season. CFB should go back to the BCS ranking setup, with 8 teams, that include all P5 champs, the highest ranked G5 champ, and two at-large teams. Access for all, but still requires on-field performance. This current setup is garbage.

Just read on another board that the SEC went

6-9 vs other P5 conference members
2-7 vs other P5 conference members with at least 6 wins vs FBS teams
1-1 vs the Big 12
0-2 vs the Pac 12
0-2 vs the Big Ten
5-4 vs the ACC (only one win vs. a decent team in NC State)

But yeah, lets give them half the Invitational spots!
