Selfishly, glad you guys picked one of these up before league play. You had all the makings of a team everybody knew was good but dealing with injuries. Lose your way through non-con, get healthy, and beat good teams in the league. Then the media conveniently 'forgets' your early-season injuries when punishing the teams you beat in February.

According to KenPom (I won't argue if that metric is best and you can come up with another metric to negate my point), you are LaSalle's and George Washington's equal. Temple is some around 118, LaSalle is somewhere around 130 and George Washington is somewhere around 140.

If Temple is truly a Top 50 team, they don't lose to these two teams or at least not to one of the two. Great, you defeat Auburn and have another nice win (I don't remember who it is right now, but consistency is a virtue of good teams (Top 50), and you can't lose to teams like this on a regular basis.

They still have Wisconsin/St. Joe's/Nova/@Georgia. They lost those two by a combined 8. We'll have a clear picture of Temple's worth before conference play starts.

Also, no way Temple is that low this year. I really like kenPom, but he still has his preseason numbers weighted in until mid-January, and those numbers didn't like Temple because of injuries last season.
