That would win the Dems the White House if you included the Gulf of Mexico (and maybe the Great Lakes) as a coast line. Remember Texas is now purple - sort of.

The problem with this is that America really wanted to be over race in 2008. I remember after Obama won it was disappointing but I said to my self "I'm very happy at how far we have come".

Will she win if it's a "I'm with Her, and she's Black"? Not likely

The neo-liberals still control the party (and the process), and they're dumb, but I don't think they are dumb enough to put coastal fringe, alt-left california values on the top of the ticket.
