Something that has bothered me for some time about TK’s coaching style is we don’t touch the bench unless someone gets in foul trouble. Barely played 8 guys again last night—against a team that was short-handed. We have some guys who I’m afraid are going to hit the wall before we even get half way thru MAC play due to how many minutes they log.

Somewhat interesting fact: other than the win over Ohio Northern, we’ve beaten a team that played without 1 1/2 of its expected starters (St. Joe’s), 1 of its expected starters (Oakland), and now 2 of its expected starters (Texas Southern).

When is Willie Jackson eligible---December 16 or 20th? It would be nice to get him in the rotation for a few games before the MAC season starts.

Jackson's bio on the UT site says he's eligible after fall semester. Just a guess on my part, but that's got to mean he can play on the 16th (a Saturday). Unless UT's final exams week runs through Saturday. I didn't take the time to look for the exam schedule. Even if I'm wrong about him playing on the 16th, he should see action in 3 games (Jackson State, Cleveland State and Penn), before the conference opener in Buffalo.

I hoped someone had a better memory than I, but "I think" they said on the radio last night he was eligible on the 16th.
