Soup to nuts I thought the refs evened out. Tough late hit call on the OT hit yes.

Huff missed game? Pop missed game. Hart out hurt, 4 out hurt.

Great resolve down 14 late. Little shame. Refs ok.

Plus if we had just stayed away from the cute stuff those two times in the red zone and got just 1 TD instead of the FG, but you know. Hindsight.

I was praying we wouldn't try one of those in overtime. Then again, maybe it would have helped.

I thought there were a couple that went the other way that were bad. Considering the speed of the game, I thought the refs did ok.

We were trying to help them out with all of those delays. Lotta good it did us!

Never saw a replay of the block in the back, but that penalty, justified or not, cost us this game.

Dude, how old are you, 3?
They were getting good penetration the whole game. It was a tough kick and he’d just got one blocked (though it didn’t count). He’s human.

Refs were fine. I know the 2nd “missed” face mask on us wasn’t face mask. You could see he grabbed his helmet, not face mask. Maybe, we didn’t on the first “missed” call either. We did enough to hurt ourselves. No need to blame refs.

Or made the winning kick in regulation...

We had our chances. We gave up a ton of points, but the defense did enough in the end for us to win it.

We played great, and I really love the way this team fought back down 14.

Why put the game on the shoulders of a freshman when we showed with 800 yds of offense we could move the ball & 3 time outs in regulation? I understand a 20 yd FG but to essentially decide to kick a FG of 40+ yd FG without attempting to move the ball down the field doesn't make sense to me. Not taking anything away from our guys who played their hearts out but we had a great shot to win in regulation. Just some head scratching on the play calling.
