Been saying for a while. Our "stepping stone" coaching turnover status is only different from any other place in semantics. Nothing is secure. Everyone is at risk. It's no greater here than there.
Some say, yeah, but the $EC can hire guaranteed winners. Tell that to UTK, Arkinsaw, Old Miss, TAMU, Aubrin, Florida, Bama (pre-Saban), etc, etc. Nothing is guaranteed.
Last week I had the TV on, not really pay attention, and heard a guy promo-ing the upcoming story about the coaching carousel with the line "Has the SEC become a coaching graveyard?" I don't know if that was ESPN or a local channel or FoxSW. I was doing stuff and went outside or something and didn't hear the story.

That drops to only 1 team if you go back to 2015.
Makes you wonder why any coach would want to take a SEC west coaching position.
Gus has been at Auburn for 6 years now, so you have to go back further than 2015 for it to drop to only 1...
Yeah, Auburn beat Alabama, Alabama can't win them all but Auburn's sh*t-crazy base still nearly let their HC leave for another job in the same DIVISION.
