Shi@#$%^%$r Than Turncoat Tom
Man, If the rumors that are flying around are true. What Frost is doing is worse than would CTH did. Tom spit the bit in the middle season with epic choke jobs against SMU and Navy while he was talking to UT and LSU. Nothing really on the line.
Alot more at stake with UCF with a championship and a NY 6 to play for.
I hope your yalls sake that he finishes the season, but I find that hard to believe that even if UCF wins tommorrow, that he'd stick around for the bowl game. Ouch.
Gonna be a good game, but I can see UCF coming out flat with all the distractions.
I got Memphis...

We looked like an intramural team against Auburn in our bowl game when Fuente left. It was bad

Frost pretty much has done that.

RE: Shi@#$%^%$r Than Turncoat Tom
Is Frost leaving, probably yes. However, all the noise, rumors etc are are unfounded from some loser in his basement getting tweets to go viral. The press are no help because they feed into the circus. Realistically, as of now, there was probably only negotiation with Frosts agent and Nebraska. Nothing else. Coaches shopping for houses, etc etc. How idiotic, and gullible fools buy into that crap. They all have jobs at UCF including Frost. Frost has not even signed a contract yet. So outside of him talking behind the scenes to a coach about who is gonna go with him and who is not, its ridiculous. Even if I was in Frosts shoes, I would be telling my coach friends that we will talk after today. Also, even if Frost promised them a job, Frost doesn't even have his contract signed. Are you gonna start shopping for a new house as an assistant coach because you were promised a job or do you shop after you sign a contract?

In 2015, then Temple coach Matt Rhule did not keep it too secret that he was job hunting. He did state eventually that he was staying, but the distraction had already caused problems. In 2016, he very quietly negotiated the Baylor job, and did not cause a distraction leading up to the American Championship game. So there are better ways for coaches to handle this. In the end though, our successful coaches will be poached for more money and opportunity.

There needs to be a rule that prevents coaches from being poached before bowl games. If the NCAA and its member schools truly cared about their student athletes, they would do something about it. If UCF gets screwed like Cincinnati did when Brian Kelly left, it will be a damn shame. He left in his wake a skeleton coaching staff and an emotionally devastated team that should have been riding high after the best season in the program's history.

Brandon Helwig has confirmed he's definitely leaving, and we've already started a coaching search

He's gone. He refused to comment but the Nebraska media is insane and they connected enough dots that it became a known fact earlier this week. After that, while not formally announcing it, the tone in his interviews changed to that of a farewell tour.
I hold very little if anything about this against Coach Frost. It's strange watching fellow Knight fans melting down over this more than my FSU fans are over Jimbo taking a lateral move to a school that he wasn't already affiliated with.
Coach Frost is going home - great story in college football that we play a small role in.

$75M over 10 yrs talks. I understand that much more than Frost going to Nebraska where he is likely to fail (in terms of championships) even if improving the program for far less money than Jimbo will get. I understand the draw of an alma mater & since Frost is born & raised Nebraska, IMO that is more the draw than the school & the job. Home is home to some - and apparently Frost is in that group of thinkers. Otherwise, UCF could likely pay enough to keep him, if it was a money consideration. But tough to compete with home for some folks - like Frost. The Nebraska HC's job may be much more of a challenge than Frost knows.

Did you see the 2010 Sugar Bowl without Kelly? West Virginia is the only team that played above potential after a coaching loss to my knowledge.

100 percent agree. It goes to show you that the poachers hold too much influence. The only disadvantage to postponing the coaches move is recruiting and some other contract obligations. In my opinion, this is an issue of tortious interference of a contract.

Frost just showed up to the Game with a white and red checkered shirt.
Either he's dumber than we all thought or he's just... idk, I have nothing nice to say.

Herman left in a crappy way but I'll always cherish the wins over Florida State, OU and the destruction of Louisville with the eventual Heisman Winner.
