Yes. He recruited the #1 prospect to leave Ensworth in Nashville to play for him at East. Think he could talk the kid into playing at Memphis if he could convince him to leave Ensworth for East?

It's time. Tubby will continue to get paid no matter what, and Assistants should be on annual contracts. Spread Tubby over the remaining 3.5 years, and fire the assistants. Offer Penny $1M annually until Tubby is paid off, and his assistant salary pool would be the same as Tubby's. After 3.5 years, if the program is making progress, Penny gets Tubby's $3M salary. If not, mutually agree to part ways.

Only incremental cost is Penny's $1M annually. You would make that up in ticket sales and the Grizz money that you're going to miss out on this year.
