Only 3 turnovers this half. They have shot 41 threes, so far...

They certainly have a funky playing style. Very aggressive run and shoot type of offense, with a defense meant to generate turnovers, but they lack the shooting ability to really do it well. I guess their hope is they'll put up enough volume of shots that a lack of shooting quality won't matter as much.

RE: Savannah State Tigers
Cut the turnovers in half and W&M might have topped 130

15 of 17 from the FT line (88%). Nice.

Have we ever scored 100 points in back to back games before?

As best I can figure, this is the third time we have gone back to back with 100 point wins. The first was in 1954 (Furman, then Hampden Sydney) the other was just last season, against Milligan and (surprise, surprise) Savannah State.

Ohio State absolutely drilling Wisconsin, 68-36, with 12 mins left at Wisconsin. OSU has started the season well above expectations, considering the player losses and coaching change. Will be a bigger than expected challenge next Saturday. Another nice marker for the Tribe if they can tough out a 2nd road win this week at GMU. Good time for Paul Rowley to have a first big game this season in his backyard.

RE: Savannah State Tigers
Never. There have only been three seasons when we scored 100 three times, 1954-55, when we also beat Va. Tech, 105-73 and last season, when we also beat Drexel, 108-75.

We have never had four 100 point games in a season, so there is that to shoot for...

69 of 117 for the past four games, 59% from three. Not too shabby.

04-cheers

Just remember what Tony kept saying about this team. Great shooting, great chemistry.

In all fairness, we played like crap today on defense and with ball protection/awareness, but shot ourselves out of it. Savannah put on ball pressure the entire game full court. Cohn had several turnovers that looked lazy both passing and knowing where the opposition was, but man, he's fast. Can't afford to see him get hurt.

Honestly, they should be undefeated. One hell of a choke against Butler to lose in OT (they may be worse at handling the press than W&M) and just took the foot off the gas against Clemson in the 2nd half and blew another big lead.

Scratch the undefeated part. Forgot they lost big to the Zags
