My favorite personally was the night he did the presentation about the new IPF and football offices, using the architectural drawings for the Carol Garrison version.

Ingram came in with the mandate to run Clark off and keep football dead. In doing so he spent months alienating pretty much every person who was associated with the effort to bring UAB football back. He basically told every UAB fan and booster he talked to that they were dumb and misguided and that only he knew what was best for UAB. Not surprisingly he pissed off a large number of people in doing so.

Anyone suggesting that Ingram is somehow a victim quite frankly doesn't know what they are talking about.

Or does not buy the side of the story being force fed

That story was being put out, but someone corrected put the truth out there.

I like to give people the benefit of the doubt, but I've had two interactions with him that very much fit your description. In both of those interactions, he either brushed off my concerns or blamed them on someone else. He was very smug, condescending, and in my opinion, unprofessional. I think that some of the Ingram hate is undeserved, but I think many complaints about him are also totally legitimate. I just don't think he's a very good fit for UAB.

That same blame shifting mentality is what I've seen from our ticket office this year too.

I agree with this assessment, and there's plenty of evidence to back it up.

Having said that, I think he has been making a concerted effort to be more engaging and involved of late. I noticed him last night, with his green blazer on, and all but leading a cheer, and even mentioned to my wife, "Hey look, Mark is finally becoming a Blazer!" I hope that is true.

Unless, of course, Tennessee hires him away.

Fulmer was named AD today for the next 2 years. Someday the books on UAB and UT athletics will be best sellers

Or does not buy the side of the story being force fed

Or someone is watching from afar who has absolutely zero knowledge and insight into what goes on, on the Southside, yet arrogantly declares he chooses to not believe what many with more experience and credibility know first-hand as fact.

And still no one here has gotten the story quite right. Ingram was NOT on the original list of 3 finalists. BUT one of those finalists pulled out and Ingram (4th on the original list) was added to the list of 3 sent to Pumpkin Head the not so magnificent.

Sometimes you can see the full picture from afar.

And sometimes the ref way across the court makes a wrong call and everyone yells abuse at him.

By happenstance, I walked into an employee lounge at work the day Fulmer gave his press conference live on ESPN, the TV was tuned in to it. I had to do a double take. Because I swear to God when I first looked up at the screen, I thought I was looking at Ray Watts in an orange tie. I just happened to have my UAB Football program on me, and a photo of Watts in it. Did anyone who saw that presser detect a resemblance? Hell, he even sounded like old Pumpkin Head to me!03-lmfao
