If it gets rid of Tubby I'll burn my couch. No problem.

Tubby took this job as a nice little retirement check.

Probably his view of it and I think Bowen sold it to himself on grounds that if nothing else Tubby would keep the program's nose clean and in theory is much more of an "X's and O's coach" compared to JP. Now I doubt he thought that would be at the expense of fielding a mediocre to decent team.

It's pretty obvious since the guy hasn't gotten of his a55 since he took the job.

Add "no sense of urgency" to the list. We get smacked in the mouth at the start of games. It indicates difficulty in Tubby sparking motivation - a problem last year on our late season losing skid (including the final two season ending games when we lost by historical or near historical margins).

"We" need to buy him out, huh? How much are you going to contribute? Probably owe him around $11.5M to $12M as of today.

Some of you guys need to get a grip and recognize reality. Money isn't there to buy him out, and Tubby isn't going to forfeit his contract.

Found out yesterday that the way the contract is structured, the buyout can be spread over several years. After hearing that, and hearing who it came from, I don’t think he makes it to year 3.

I think it was Calkins who reported it as coming from Rudd? Not sure about the details as far as the reporter and if it were Rudd or a booster, but regardless if they are telling this to a reporter.....he gone

Pictures please!

I’ll say 1,500

If this season continues on this trajectory, and it will, there will be a change or his coaching staff will not look the same. Look there wasn’t money for josh for a few reasons. Josh was well liked and not everyone agreed he should go. I think this one is going to be unanimous. I really think Penney is about to get his shot

At this point who would want the job. There is nothing that a coach can even work with

Dude has turned UNLV around in 1 year. We got the facilities and recruiting base. Just need a young go getter

I said this when Josh was on his way out...DAN MAJERLE!! 04-rock
