Just noticed this when looking at CFBstats. Kind of surprising that Moore, Chunn, and Rose didn't hit that mark this season. Tyson Summers has to get part of the blame, too.

Chunn was pretty beat up last season taking all those carries, and it really showed in our last few games of the year. We're much deeper at running back this year, so we've spread the wealth a lot more to keep Chunn fresh down the stretch.

His backup Jamarius Henderson leads the league in rushing average, by a pretty wide margin. No one really comes close. It'll be a game time decision whether he plays Saturday, as he's recovering from some type of injury.

Jalin missed two whole games, and didn't play in the second half in three others due to injuries. He looks to be finding his groove now though, and has a chance at 1000 before the end of the season.

Chunn missed a couple of games with a cut during the so bammer game. Can't cry over spilt milk, but our backups were solid during his absence.

Rose hasn't got the blocking that he normally does. It will be interesting to see if anyone hits 1000 after this weekend.

It's not due to a shortage of quality backs, that's for sure. Some of it is schematic (like South Alabama and Ark State).

Rose spent some time out for injury, I remember he didn't play in our game against NMSU.
