Rockets lost the first game of a doubleheader to Georgia on Saturday. 7-0 final.

Edit: Had the score wrong. It was 8-3 Georgia in the first game of the DH. 7-0 loss was Friday.

Thanks partly to a huge 9th, Toledo won the second game of the series against Cincinnati. UT led 8-5 going to the bottom of the 8th, Bearcats scored 2 in the bottom of the 8th to make it 8-7, then the Rockets scored 5 in the 9th to take a 13-7 lead and that's how it ended. UT with back-to-back homers in the 9th to put it away.

Why is our baseball team so bad? We are 4-13 now and it's not going to get any easier as we enter MAC play. I'm sure our coach knows a lot about baseball, but, maybe he should get some recruiting pointers from Coach Candle. I'm sure UT would cough up some money for new facilities if the product on the field was better.

Might be time to move the program in another direction. I believe Mee has been at the helm for about 12-13 years? If i remember correctly, I think one division title and we still didnt have a very good record that year?

Just looked back until 2005. Finished 19-8 in conference twice. Had more winning conference records than I thought but believe overall we have only had a winning record 2 years since then.

The fact that Mee is still in charge of the program with zero championships and only 2 winning seasons in 12-13 years says a whole lot about the state of baseball in UT's mind. Just not that important? The facilities are a program killer. Zero MAC championships in the program's entire existence. Blows my mind.
