Great game by the Lady Owls but only eight players. The announcer for the game is great also, very positive about the Owls with no bias.

Flurry of Rice turnovers late in 4th proving very costly.

Rice losses 82 to 76. The Lady Owls played a great game. They were leading at the 3 minute mark but just could not close it out.

As I said before, the lack of a bench this year due to injuries to our bigs, is going to hold us back a bit. Valient effort, but we ran out of gas after ending the 3Q tied at 55 - 55, and the Aggies dominated the boards down the stretch.

Agreed. The Aggies are a Top 25 caliber club, if not even better than that, and we effectively played them even on the road.

With increased depth this program can really elevate. Two quality efforts on the road this week...I think KU will turn out to be a better team this year than their last two years...and A&M is definitely a Top20 team again. The heavy emphasis on road games will pay dividends.

The loss of Rainey and Ellig to injuries really hurt.

as has been mentioned, barring injuries or transfers, next year should be top 25 calibre. Langley is the best recruiter on campus at this point, and hopefully JK will do what is necessary to keep her.
I support them w six season passes, which I then donate to charity. I urge those of you who cannot attend to consider that option. For the women, it is very inexpensive ( ~ 65 $) per season ticket for this plan. I am hoping the passes will be used to put butts in the stands.

Walt questioned my point in providing the A&M vs Little Rock score. it was to show that we were closer to A&M than we have been in previous years.
