And the women trying to pull off the big upset in College Station, leading the Aggies 25-17 after 1Q. Rice shooting 63%.

Same problem we've had before. Good looks, not falling. Just don't have the offensive firepower right now to keep up with good teams.

UTA very athletic and long. Great on the boards. Little surprised that the UTA coached hasn’t been drawn more interest though unlike Smallwood at SFA he has’t pulled off a NCAA win.

Hervey could score 50 in this game if he wanted to. Nobody on the perimeter of our zone that nearly has the length to stop him from shooting.

Durant like. Rice shooting 26% just won't cut it

5 lazy passes on inbounds and in the center of the court by Ako and Mency is just indefensible.

Aggies on a 10-0 run to take lead 32 - 36 lead with 0:36 to go in the half. Strangely, Ogwumike hasn't taken a shot this quarter, afer going 5-5 in 1Q.

33 - 36 Aggies at half. Still a solid half. Agwumike and Iademarco have 12 and 13 points, respectively.

Missing good looks paired with bad turnovers paired with opposing players who are just plain talented.

20 of our 27 shots (5 of 7 makes) were 3pters and most were fairly open.

Surprised there are not more students at the game.

Unfortunately almost all of those 20 3’s weren’t shot by AJ. We just don’t have anyone beyond AJ and Connor who give us a chance to score. Ako has his moments as does Mency but can’t depend on them. I thought Martin was beginning to find himself but he has slipped back and Harrison still hasn’t shown any of the ability that he displayed in HS. All of our “big men” play soft.

RE: Rice/UTA gamethread
What's disheartening about this game is that UTA hasn't taken us seriously. Their defensive effort has been horrible. We're basically playing 5 v 4 on offense with the amount Hervey defends and we're just not taking advantage of it.
