I think we’re 20 Art Thompkins yards from having three 600 yard rushers. Can’t recall a year like that.

UT's coaches did their best to limit his carrys this season..IMO.
He just showed way to much strong running though.
He is an impressive and valuable member of this years team.
Thought I heard that he didn,t play much his senior year in HS, from injuries.
Flew under the radar.
If true another recruiting coup by our excellent recruiting staff.

He definitely took carries from Art but no way should have gotten more from Swanson who was "limited" all last year, is currently 5th all-time and within range of #4. IMO he has been largely over looked by UT fans due to the greatness of #3 and #11. He is the engine that makes the offense go. The games we lost he was injured (pretty early in) and we had a close game against EMU when he didn't play at all; coincidence?I don't think so.

Seymour definitely looks like a very special runner. He is big and fast and has pretty good vision.

I'd like to see Toledo continue to throw the ball to the backs, especially Seymour, as he is much bigger than most DBs would care to tackle.

Not sure what our career rushing touchdown record is, but Seymour is going to have a very good chance to break it if he stays healthy. 12 rushing touchdowns and counting for a freshman....crazy! Kareem had 16 in his best year I believe, and Seymour looks to be the feature back next year.

Nick Sims red shirted this year and should be in the mix next year. Heard he is the deal.

Art may find himself back as the 3rd wheel again next year if Sims is as good as all the hype.

That's a good point. If Sims is in fact as good as all the hype, we'll be tough to beat with three very capable backs.

It will be interesting to see how Sims and Seymour stack up to Mike Warren's production. I feel good about our situation.

Warren had 354 yds and 1 td this year.

Warren had a successful freshman campaign on a crappy team. Usually gets about 50 rushing yards a game playing behind their senior starter and he also returns kicks/punts with a few 40+ yard returns. I hope Cincy never makes a bowl game.
