I'm sure his lawyers are looking into it, but no full contract was actually signed, so he may be SOL.

RE: Tennessee
I think they need to get Miles, he is a proven winner. If he can get Tennessee to win about 10 games a year like he did at LSU, then Tennessee fans should be happy.

RE: Tennessee
Quote:Tennessee athletic director John Currie, who had been leading a disastrous coaching search, has parted ways with the university after meeting with school officials, including chancellor Beverly Davenport, on Friday morning, sources confirmed to ESPN.

Currie flew back earlier Friday to Knoxville after interviewing Washington State coach Mike Leach on Thursday in Los Angeles. University officials instructed Currie not to broker a deal with Leach or anybody else prior to returning to campus, sources told ESPN.

Right now they need someone to come, stabilize that program and win some games. Get that job back to being a top 10 job. Right now it's a terrible job, apparently.

Not sure that job was ever a top 10 job. Never a better job than ND, USC, Ohio State, Michigan, Bama, Texas, Oklahoma, UCLA, LSU, or Florida (in no particular order). Maybe in the SEC, but surely behind Bama, Auburn, Florida, LSU, Texas A&M, and Georgia...I’d give them the 7th position in the SEC. I agree that they need to just get Les Miles (if they can) and call it a day. This has been an absolute embarrassment.

Fuller wanted the AD job before Currie got it. Just another example of Fulmer stabbing someone in the back in Knoxville. He has a history of that.

I don't agree with that list. Historically, UT is a better job then all in the SEC except Bama. They have 13 SEC championship, second only to Bama, Georgia could tie them this year. Florida was a nothing program until Spurrier got there, A&M hasn't proven they can win, anywhere. When was the last time Texas and ND was relevant???

And UCLA???? Really??? USC yes, UCLA, no.
