EMP is probably a bit (but not totally) overrated. Seems there are a lot of competing theories on how effective it can be delivered.

Hard to argue the threat is real. The President said we would take care of it, so hopefully whatever is proposed will have bilateral support.

if that tech was proven to devastate a large geo region and available for purchase??????it would've been unleashed by any rogue regime by now (on the US)

His solution would be to impeach Trump.

Once again, Clinton, Bush and Obama let this problem happen. Now Trump will deal with it. Love how libs just think this NK situation with their nukes all happened since Trump took office. If Obama hadn't been so busy apologizing for America, maybe he could have grown a set and dealt with this issue.

The USA and the rest of the world are not going to use military force on North Korea until the missile has a warhead. Then and only then will we use military force.

If you really want to see the sparks fly wait until the Olympics in Seoul next year.

The solution to NK was to not elect Clinton, Bush, and Oblunder to the whitehouse. Since America went uber stupid, the new solution is to allow Trump to deal with it.

I'm not convinced that this particular weapon is an actual problem to the United States.

I think Little Kim is simply lobbyiing for aid. Ransom if you want to call it that.

If NK is stupid enough to actually put a warhead on a missile and nuke the US, it's their own death warrant they are signing. Not only theirs, but I can pretty much guarantee the the US wipes every last communist/socialist leader in the western hemisphere off the map. Iran would probably be next, knowing they worked with NK and would do the exact same thing if they got the chance.

To some extent yes. But Little Kim and Donald Trump aren't sophisticated strategists. They are likely two of the stupidest people on the planet.

During the Cold War, Russia and the U.S. both knew dropping a nuke was game over for everyone.

I think it's a mistake. By the time he realizes how the game is played, it might be too late.

NK isn't really the most important issue -- not really. not anymore. the most important issue is how impossibly difficult it is to deal with a madman once he gets a nuke.
