RE: Schor’s running game
So far so good in the playoffs. Schor’s rushing attempts per game are up more than 40% from the regular season. If the depleted offensive line can’t block, at least Schor is keeping the defense guessing on the read option.
The sack yardage has made his overall rushing stats look pedestrian, but he has actually been quite effective in the playoffs. Hopefully, he can absorb the additional hits for 2 more games because the Dukes need his running threat to generate enough offense vs the best teams FCS has to offer.

Weber state had a great play a few times... the QB fake draw / back to the pocket for a pass - could be a good to adopt

You have to be able to block to that.
We can’t block that long

RE: Schor’s running game
His negative rushing stat stands at -219, about 22 first downs worth. In 2016 at this point in the year it was -112. I guess the minus yards are a lesser evil than most interceptions. Throwing the pass away is probably the least evil, perhaps keeping us in FG range. So much of this decision process is instantaneous. I don't know how QBs do it, considering the primary focus is surveying the receivers to find someone open, while using instinct and peripheral vision to assess the pass rush, while trying to make a play. Whew!
And I know there are a lot more layers than this, to the "onion" of quarterbacking. My bottom line is we have been extremely fortunate to have Bryan.
