#20 in the CFP Ranking
Committee bias is alive and well. Ranked behind six 3 loss teams.

This is why it will be a problem to keep a good coach. UCF is undefeated and ranked 14.

it is not bias

it is a rigged system. bias would be a step up from the "playoff" system we now have.

Look at the payouts...

I like what they did though. Left room for Alabama to sneak in at 4 if Wisconsin loses and will lead to rematch of last years championship and potential rivalry game Championship this year.

I’m pulling for Miami (gag), Ohio State (gag), TCU, and Georgia just to throw the whole system into a frenzy.

A very good team will be left out and be outrage about it and call for 8 team playoff which helps G5 and the Tigers. Whether it’s the G5 as a whole (highest rank team) gets a slot or (doubtful) AAC champ gets automatic bid...there’s at least a better chance than there is now

I hope absolute chaos ensues this weekend. The only favorite I'll be remotely pulling for is Wisconsin.

Yep that is kind of disappointing. But mostly is is a reflection on our weak schedule, IMO.

If you do not play in your own conference title game there is no way in hell you should be allowed to play in National Championship series.

They have a defense good enough to do it.

3 loss Stanford jumped 9 spots ahead of undefeated UCF because they just beat ND.

It doesn't matter at this point. Just beat UCF and we're in a major bowl.

RE: #20 in the CFP Ranking
You know guys i'm totally wrong, and i will admit it right now.

I've been saying for years every power conference team would have to have at least two losses each and a g5 team would have to be undefeated to sneak into the 4th playoff spot.

Every power conference team would need 3 maybe 4 losses each and a g5 would have to still beat some ranked teams on their schedule while staying undefeated to get the 4th spot. Look at ucf being passed by a 3 loss team again.

We have absolutely no shot at the national championship. Been this way forever but the divide really started when the bcs was created and this new playoff is making it no secret that it's a select club who will play every year for the championship. This really hurts g5 fanbases and game attendance more than anything.

1. Clemson (11-1)
2. Auburn (10-2)
3. Oklahoma (11-1)
4. Wisconsin (12-0)
5. Alabama (11-1)
6. Georgia (11-1)
7. Miami (Fla.) (10-1)
8. Ohio State (10-2)
9. Penn State (10-2)
10. Southern California (10-2)
11. TCU (10-2)
12. Stanford (9-3)
13. Washington (10-2)
14. Central Florida (11-0)
15. Notre Dame (9-3)
16. Michigan State (9-3)
17. LSU (9-3)
18. Washington State (9-3)
19. Oklahoma State (9-3)
20. Memphis (10-1)
21. Northwestern (9-3)
22. Virginia Tech (9-3)
23. Mississippi State (8-4)
24. North Carolina State (8-4)
25. Fresno State (9-3)
