Tribe TV Top Notch
Just a quick word to note the high quality of Tribe TV, which is surely in the high levels of university sports coverage.

Having watched numerous terrible telecasts, both in picture and announcer quality from other colleges, we enjoy a great product in Tribe TV. Our announcers are very good and the quality and variety of our picture coverage in professional.

The pictures and announcing of Tot's historic shot Saturday night were worthy of ESPN and looked it on ESPN's coverage of the moment on SportsCenter.

The in-house production is very good for the mid major level. It is on par, if not better than any in the CAA. The outside production company they hired to do promo videos is outstanding as well. They do some very professional work. All this investment and talent in video production makes me scratch my head why there isn't a weekly coaches show.

Some broadcasts have a different announcer (Jay and Charlie vs Kris Sears???). Why? I kind of like Kris' energy...listened to part of the womens game and he was excellent in his play-by-play, with the color commentary very good.

I believe the ODU game was on TV, and I think (not positive though) that Jay and Charlie did the TV commentary which was different from the one used for the online streaming feed.

The quality of the video from Kaplan is outstanding vs that of away games. Kudos to Tribe TV!

Yes, YURVIEW wanted a dedicated call, so Jay and Charlie did TV. Evan, doing the stream broadcast, got nice props, from Kenny Mayne, for his call on the final shot. It was a good call.

We were very lucky that an experienced TV production guy decided to retire in Williamsburg. They do a great job.
