And the AD too.

New AD, football and basketball coaches. Hopefully, this will be a new era for UTEP athletics. I've always believed UTEP has so much potential, it has many advantages most G5 schools lack and the foundation is there with a fanbase that has shown support before. It is one of those rare G5's that can average 40k/10k on both revenue sports. I know baseball was not a priority when Stull was the AD, maybe Senter will reverse that.

Winning supposedly fixes everything but I'm not so sure at UTEP.

We have been bad for so long that a lot of people have just replaced that part of their lives for other things.

I used to work my whole week schedule around basketball games. I don't know if I could even get back to that again.

I think I'm like most fans who are skeptical and are on a wait and see basis.

I’m assuming the cavalry never showed up. He saw the writing on the walls and walked away.

I will not say the sleeping giant is awake just yet, but he has definitely been nudged. Make no mistake, if UTEP makes good hires then they will be the flagship of this conference. They are the only ones who can consistently average 45k/game. I'm officially excited to see how this plays out for my UTEP conference mates. I'm rooting for you all on this.

I guess Lebo got depressed that there wouldn't be any more UTEP/Tim Floyd games in Minges, too.
