We can all post dancing bananas. It’s pointless but we can all do it.

Variously listed as 6-7 to 6-9 190# and a 2 or 3. If he had decided 12 days ago he could have signed a binding LOI.

RE: Basketball Commit
interesting recruit. good height, thin but looks like he has a decent frame to grow into. not much video on him but from the chicago area although he's now at one of those basketball academies. plays on a team with the #2 player in the 2019 class, 2 7 footers from africa, a cal commit, and a bunch of college prospects. only scouting report i've seen says his shooting range and versatility are a strength but he needs to improve his ball handling and if he does could grow into a huge guard. seen his height range from 6-7 to 6-9. had a very grounded and well thought out announcement for his commit to UT. sounds like the type of kid we've been recruiting in recent years, someone who wants to be a student and good teammate as well as excel on the court. fall signing date has ended, so he will remain a verbal commit, not an official commit until april. could still change his mind, although on that loaded high school roster will have some trouble standing out enough to procure much higher level offers. obviously, we still need post players but at least we look to be getting a tall player even if he's projected as more of a wing. had an offer from Miami's new staff which seems to know what they are doing, an Illinois St offer (probably the best Valley program post Whicita St) and 3 or 4 other mid majors.

Thanks, pono. Very helpful analysis.

RE: Basketball Commit
In the photos with coach K he looks closer to 6'6" than 6'9" but in street clothes he looks like a gamer/good athlete.

RE: Basketball Commit
From visual appearances (not stats, as I haven’t seen any for him), he looks like a James Gordon-type player. That one still seems like a bit of a work in progress...
