Raven Lee in the G-League
Raven has been picked up by the Warriors G-League Affiliate. Congrats to Raven and continuing to fight for his dream. He joins Karrington Ward who is on the Windy City Bulls. More EMU alumni in the NBA/G-League is a great thing!

Hey George, do you remember when this guy lit up your Central team last year and made ESPNs top 10. I know you're reading this George.

Come on, guys, George isn't on this thread.

Time to give this stuff a rest.

Ray has a very real chance to make the show! I just missed him because Santa Cruz was just in Des Moines to play the Iowa Wolves...next time they do, I will have a signed photo which will go up on my EMU Wall of Fame! Go Ray!

Raven Lee in the G-League
Looks like he put up 6 points in 25 minutes last night. Has former Syracuse 2-3 zoner and former Piston Michael Gbinije on his team.

It would have been interesting to see what Ray's stats would have looked like in a structured offense where he's running off screens vs scoring in 1 on 1 isolation. When Ray was on, no one could guard him.

Brian Tolbert was the greatest to ever play the game of college basketball at EMU. He could single handily take over a game like Lebrun James or Michael Jordan. Unfortunately, his skills did not translate to the NBA version of the game.

Or if he did not have to waste energy unnecessarily running back and forth in a useless zone defense. Am I catching on yet? Kidding.

As much as I love Brian Tolbert's game, he's not a Top 5 EMU player. But you're right in that the end of the game was Tolbert time. It was so awesome watching BT play vs Duke and hearing the EMU fans chant TOL-BERT, TOL-BERT...... TOL-BERT :-)

Very true. Which is why we can easily project him making an NBA roster.
