Back to Texas?
I haven't posted much on this board since the migration and the Bobcats leaving.

However, I read the news about the Runners leaving the conference today. I've also read the posts about UMKC looking elsewhere and Chicago State facing their issues. It sounds dire, but this league continues to limp on.

I noticed on another site that Tarleton (D2 school west of DFW) put together a committee to explore D1 aspirations and thought that an invite might come as early as December. Any thoughts if the WAC is looking at coming back to Texas?

I understand the New Mexico State will continue to operate as an FBS indy until they can find a home. However, do you think the league will change its stance on bringing football back (even at the FCS level) if they were able to draw multiple schools in from D2?

RE: Back to Texas?
I think Football in the WAC is not likely to happen ever again.
