I did not expect Ben Marcus to be shooting 81%. He shot a high percentage last year, but this is almost unbelievable.

I did not expect Reedus to be averaging only 6.3 ppg.

I did not expect Mompremier to be a 3-point threat (even if on limited attempts).

I am expecting (hoping) to see more out of Reedus in the coming weeks. He was out with a broken foot and missed 2 months of practice. The official NCJAA site listed him as a 3rd team All-American. Hard for me to believe he won't average in double figures, at the Sun Belt level, once he gets fully in game shape. DeAndre Burns should also be a solid Sun Belt player when he gets back. With freshman Lottie and Corcoran, I think we have a solid backcourt. Our frontcourt has been better than I expected. Once we fit the pieces together, I am still hopeful we can have a decent season. Not sure how I would define "decent" at this point. Probably .500 or so, which won't be easy after an 0-5 start.

If Hadzic does turn out to be a real shooter, that will be a big plus, having a 6-8 kid who can hit 3s. He hasn't done badly so far for a true freshman.
