NCAA Volleyball Tournament
Our girls deserve a mention for a #16 National Seed and a home host to the 1st Round of the NCAA Volleyball Tournament. They were 28-3 overall, and 20-0 (only lost 5 sets in the league in those 20 matches) in the American. Their RPI was a Top 13 RPI. Hopefully they make a little national noise for the American Conference.

They play Redford on Friday. KU and MIzzou are on the other side of the Wichita Regional bracket.

What a difference a conference makes. No way do the Shockers go undefeated in the MVC... no way do they host a regional.

Ya, it's weird that the downgrade in competition allowed us to host a regional for the first time in our history. Not sure what that says about volleyball or women's sports.

Ya, it's weird that the downgrade in competition allowed us to host a regional for the first time in our history. Not sure what that says about volleyball or women's sports.

It shows that the NCAA "system" is heavily biased (corrupt) and we improved our future university prospects greatly by joining the AAC. This move has been worth every cent paid.

Me too. Unfortunately, volleyball still has some of the parity problems of WBB and WSU is definitely not in the very top tier. It is getting better, however. Volleyball appears to be winning as the preeminent women's sport.

Wichita State beat Radford 3-0 in front of 7200+ fans in Koch Arena

Wichita State will face Mizzou tomorrow with a Sweet 16 berth on the line. Don’t know if a sellout is possible but would be nice to hit the 8k mark.
