Oh well, it is what it is
I am a Trojan fan, and I'll keep rooting for them, and even bring the Army if we can get it worked out. It isn't my job to hire coaches or coach players. It is my job to support the team. I shall try to do my job.

But my expectations for the year are not high, to say the least.

I'll continue to do my "Job" as well. We had a few great seasons in my 36 years as a fan and a few really bad ones. Most have been somewhere in between. For the most part I've enjoyed every one. I guess Sydney's 4 win season was survivable since we had just moved into Alltel Arena, which was probably the highlight of my Trojan Fandom up until that point.

Moving into Alltel Arena was the only thing that sustained me that season!

A 4-win season in Alltel. Must have felt like there was no anyone in there.

Actually it wasn't too bad. We had built up a pretty decent fan base at Barton Coliseum, and like me and MJS, we were so thrilled to be moving out of that old barn and into a bright new arena that we weren't the only ones that were sustained through the season by Alltel that year.

I would agree with PTJR. No idea what the actual numbers were, but attendance was decent since there was a lot of excitement about moving into a top of the line arena and a hog legend taking over as coach. I think a lot of people bought tickets that year for those 2 reasons.
