Next's years roster.
Over the course of the season, we have seen some young players become regulars while others have had a short audition and disappear forever. Curious about thought about some of these players.

Non starter Players that LF have determined assets.

Marcus Brown, Bryan Wright, Curtis Brooks, Marquese Taylor, Jerron Rollins, and Koby Bryant. Javan Hawes, Jj Pickney J Hawes. I have left off some obvious players in this category like Warren.

Nonstarters that will redshirt: Ethan Tucky, rj potts Darrick Forrest, Kyle Bolden, Trent Cloud, Wilson Huber, and Jabari Taylor.

Players that have lost a little shine this season: Malik Mbodj, Tyquan Statham, Joel Dublanko, Landon Brazille, Rashard Medaris, and Malik Clements, ty sponseller

Players that I have no clue: Christian Agulo, James Wiggins, Norman Oglesby, Doug Bates, Blake Yager.

I noticed today that Agulo and Wiggins got some time. I think that this was the first time all year. Thoughts about the roster. It is in much better shape than last year. A little concerned that some of the twos were not rotated in on the offensive line. The secondary group should pass the linebackers in production next year. The staff is very unsettled on the linebacker position group.

A few of the guys you listed as losing shine and having no clue were injured.

I think there will be open competition for just about every position next season. The staff will be evaluating this entire season (talent, and their own performance) There will be some guys leaving the program and some guys coming in out of nowhere IMO.

The OL is going to be an adventure. And it will still the same QB likely throwing to most of the same guys.

Can Tucky play linebacker. This would help alleviate the loss of Minor. We are stacked at defensive end(Tucky's position) with Wright, Mouhoun et a... I am amazed at our lack of depth (hell starters) at linebacker. I would not trust a redshirt freshman(Potts) at one of these positions. It seems we have manned these positions for too long with Jucos, even going back to Butch's tenure. Dublanko is a possibility on the inside, but I Sponseller get blown up enough to know that he is a passing down type player.

RE: Next's years roster.
He's going to play DE. If he can produce there, he will help. Quantity is not always quality.

The LB position is just one of many that were so incredibly poorly set up by the last administration. The class distribution was a hot mess. I'm actually pleasantly surprised with how well we may have done in one short month of recruiting that first class to get 2 guys who can produce there next season in Potts and White. Heck, White looked like an elder statesman out there down the stretch this year. He is going to be a joy to watch for the next three years.

Noticed that Pierce and Angulo got most of the snaps opposite Stephens yesterday. Wonder what was up with Taylor and Smith.

With White, it is amazing what a little football IQ can translate to the field. Take a lesson from the NfL. There is a reason that a 10 year veteran receiver reduced to a 4.9 forty can still be competitive in the league.

I took it as an Angulo audition. Would say the same thing with Wiggins.

Agreed. I still have a lot of trust in Fickell, and I hope that we retain all of our coaching staff for the sake of stability. We may want to replace some coaches later if they aren't up to snuff, but our tremendous lack of talent and developed veterans make it too difficult to judge any of the coaches yet.

The way too early starters.

Offense Hayden Moore Qb Doaks/Warren Rb Lewis, Rollins, Geddis Wr Deguara Te
Robinson center Bryzinski guard Trout tackle, Minor, Yager Your guess is as good as mine

Wright and Mohoun DE Broughton and Copeland DT
Young, White, Dublanko at lb Dublanko is the only one with size for the middle
Murphy and Wiggins Safety I thought Murphy played well this year
Taylor and Smith cb The staff seems invested in these two.

If Michael Warren is obvious, why did he only get two carries yesterday? There was one carry by a guy named Green, who I've never heard of. No, it was not last year's graduated Tion Green.

Warren left the game early with an injury it seemed. We saw him slowly walking to locker room and he didn't play after that.

Could have been Hawes who wears Tion Green's old #7. Sometimes announcers have senior moments.

Jaelen Greene. True frosh. He enrolled early and showed a bit of flash in the spring game.

Did the staff move Trout to guard? I thought that was what led to some of our better run game late in the season.

I'm convinced that next year's QB1 isn't a student yet. they're grabbing somebody's graduate transfer or a Jack Abraham or a Lindsey Scott Jr

The amazing thing watching that Notre Dame game last night is i'm not sure Wimbush is much better in the pocket finding receivers than Moore. He hit a couple nice ones(like Moore), but he also makes some dumb plays. He also threw some awful looking outs. At least Moore had a strong breeze to blame yesterday, lol. Qb play is tenuous at best in d1 right now.

Post game yesterday https://twitter.com/THE_Potts_Era/status...82786?s=17

This just made me think, I'm happy the year is over, life is fine. I'll obsess over Bearcat football in a few months when it's spring ball.

Now onward to hoop and my eternal frustration with Mick ball

The roster program from yesterday:

111 members listed
75 listed as Fr. or So.

Didn't realize the disparity was that bad?
