I'm impressed Doc. That's some fine research.

Since 2014, Nagy has had 13 individual quarters where the defense gave up at least 21 pts. Those are killers are you are almost certainly out of the game if the defense gives up 21+ pts in a quarter. Nagy is unacceptable.

This isn't on Nagy.

This program needs better players.

Better ingredients, better football.

I mean, we could buy them new cars or pay the parents large sums of money I guess.

ODU had one bad recruiting year in 2015. We lost some valuable commits who changed their minds at the last minute. Wilder had to replace those losses with low level talent. ODU is currently 5th in CUSA recruiting per 24/7 sports.

Unless we upgrade our facilities, we become vulnerable to other programs who can flip our recruits by touting their facilities.

An FBS quality stadium, player lounge or indoor facility would be nice. It's hard to close the deal without them.

There are a lot of factors that go into the decision making process. Former FSU QB and crab leg lover, Jameis Winston chose the Seminoles because he thought the cheerleaders where hot.

Nagy isn't going anywhere.

Good luck.

RE: Fire Rich Nagy
I get the idea that we need better players.
What I don't understand is, if your strength is the defensive line, why do our DB's play 7-8 yards off the line on 3rd and 4? It just does not make sense at any level.
And when your LB's are, let's say "young", you can't have your safeties playing 20 yards deep. They are too deep for run support.
Also, there was a game earlier this year where our DT's crossed each other on a stunt at our 2 yard line. As far as I know, that is the first time in the history of modern football that a stunt like that was called for in a goal line situation.

And as for Brian Scott:
4 things are most likely to happen if you pass:
1. Completion
2. Incompletion
3. Interception
4. Defensive Pass Interference
Throw the damn ball on 3rd and long.

Also, the most difficult pass to defend is a crossing route (if run remotely correct). Why we don't pass the ball over the middle is beyond me. The few times we do is often successful. USE THE WHOLE FIELD!!!!

OK, I'm done. Thanks.07-coffee3

I don't get why boosters don't understand this. ODU needs to seriously upgrade their athletic facilities before they can start thinking about having top recruiting classes in the CUSA.

Isn't this exactly what we are supposed to be doing after next season? We have a chance to build a whole new shiny FBS stadium from scratch. If we don't build something that is impressive enough to get us top highly ranked classes we will have missed a once in a lifetime opportunity. Hopefully we get it right... the first time.
