We are screwed either way. So I will just take the "withhold the money" option as that is better for my personal bottom line.

And I guess as soon as ODU rights its ship, you will be willing to give your money to ODAF and buy season tickets again? The reason P5 schools have gotten good is that they have boosters who are not fair weather fans. They give their money no matter what in hopes of wins/bowls/recruits later on down the road. They can think long term, not just season to season. If you want ODU to compete with the big boys, the boosters are going to have to spend the money.

I am not a fair weather fan. ODUIF/ODAF member since 1973. Season ticket holder longer. Maybe I'm just tired of throwing money into a sinkhole.

Not sure how the contracts are structured with respect to roll overs. With that I mean that while you don’t fire him you simply don’t roll over his contract. Yes, this is not an ideal parting of the ways but it is the only thing that I can think of for a school who has no money or appetite to fire a coach. Can anyone more familiar with our contract situation speak to this?

Shouldn't this thread title include Brian Scott as well?

Who do you think ponies up the money for a HC change. No AD in the country acts without the boosters backing him. By cutting your donation, you're just a zero with zero voice and lost any standing you had. You want a voice and a ear to hear it, you support the Monarchs.

“I have watched up close his (Nagy’s) ability to teach technique and make adjustments on game day which will benefit our defense immediately,” Wilder said.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

The average American can be sold an empty box twice. Twice is my limit!

Just to give you an idea of how it's done by the big boys, Lane Kiffin just flew back to FAU from Oxford, Mississippi on the plane owned by an Ole Miss Booster.

How fitting that he would be traveling back from the city whose university isn’t in the bowl picture due to a self imposed ban...
