Basketball RPI watch
Great start for CUSA for the 17-18 season, I'm just thrilled that WKU can say we are back in the mix. Things can change fast, but as of now this is where we all stand.

La Tech 9
ODU 13
MT 20
WKU 35

The rest are currently below 200 other than FAU at 169 with FIU close to the last in the county.

Too bad they can't rejigger the schedule and let those four teams play a sextuple round-robin to get to 18 conference games.

RE: Basketball RPI watch
I just looked at what they project for WKU season results. They project WKU will lose every road game other than against North Texas and only win 12 more games? They have us losing road games agasint 300+rpi teams?

Hopefully UAB shows up and we have a halfway decent chance to have some quality in conference wins.

You guys have some really nice players. I don't think your coach is getting it done.

USM just beat Youngstown St., and our RPI plummeted 20 spots.

We'll be right in the mix again by CUSA tourney, looking to steal it, and probably top 100-150 RPI. We always seem to start slow and we need more development inside, but we'll be fine.

Yeah, hard to beat a team that goes 15 for 25 from the 3-point line. Especially when the last one is from 55 feet out.

W&M plays Marshall next. Learn from our mistakes, Herd.

Tough way to lose. Marshall hit 19 threes against us last year, EKU hit 16 and Belmount hit 16-18

The Tribe was just hot tonight. This W&M team will only beat teams if they light it up from outside. William & Mary has never played defense, outside of a few individual exceptions such as Tarpey. This team isn't good, but 15 of 25 masks a lot of problems.

I'm not a Tony Shaver fan (as a coach, he seems like a nice man), and this team is pretty bad, so I'm just going to enjoy the win and hope I don't have to wait too long for another one. Hopefully some of our talent will gel/mature and we won't have to run the weave and heave next year.

Cohn was uncosious shooting 3s. And honestly they were for the most part well contested.

Posted from mobile device. Hopefully it's coherent.
