I watched your game.

I have great respect for many on this board, as we were former conference brothers. If Southern Miss is fortunate enough to draw a team from your conference in a bowl game, I would be glad to buy y'all a beer. And then we're gonna beat your ass.

cheers, brothers04-cheers

I think your whole P6 thing is psychologically needy and destined for collapse, but I did enjoy that game.

Yesterday was a huge step forward for the American. The P6 narrative is smart. Is it needy for Southern Miss fans to think they have a shot at The American? Look every G5 league is facing a slow death if they don’t fight the system. Cusa has seen its better days so Usm better do all it can to get out of that conference.

Honestly outside of the flashy names (Army, BYU, Gonzaga, etc) USM is likely on the shortlist. Long history with most of the teams, does more with less thus a lot of potential, and has solid programs in the big 3.

Unfortunately I don’t think Southern Miss has the appeal any longer.

Now that's funny. If your school had the chance to play in the P6 you would jump on it...right? And why is that?

They won't add Army because they already have one football-only member.

They won't add Gonzaga because of geography.

They won't add BYU because they think they're God's gift to college athletics.
