Central has come from behind to take lead 24-17.

Certainly glad Toledo gets MACC game not cmu

CMU can't make the game regardless of what happened today. Only NIU or toledo could have made it.

RE: NIU & cmu
Kind of makes that CMU loss look a little less than a fluke... and more of the fact that they have a QB that can make things happen down the stretch...

Again... and AGAIN... It takes a QB in this league to be competitive... and we haven't had one ALL SEASON. Wassink was at best a manageable backup and Goddard plays like the wet behind the ears true freshman that he his...

NIU is struggling much the same but without the devastating injuries all over the field... Say what you will about Shane Morris... but that kid is making the most of his 5th year down the stretch.

Giving Bono credit. He jacked up his team while we were “chilling” on the sidelines, and got the most out of his rent-a-QB. Team got better as the season wore on after that squeaker over awful Rhode Island.

I'll give him credit where it's due, but how many seasons has Bono been at CMU? This is Lester's first season. Expectations are higher for Bono, he SHOULD be winning by now.

The win over the Broncos buys him one year of grace, he'll be back on the hot seat next season.

And Morris drops a dime for a TD late in the game with a guy in his face...

Bottom line, the Chips rolled the dice this year with the 5th year transfer QB and a huge senior class. Didn't get what they thought they would and delayed the development of their young QB as well. Probably a good gamble but came up short!

Pinnacle of his career. They’re chanting Bono, Bono! Being stuck with Bono is good for us all.

They return nothing other than Ward, and now have to use Bono recruits. The West will be a big rebuild particularly at QB.

Bono has the Cannon and the Michigan MAC Trophy. He beat us in our own stadium.

We can't say sh!t right now.

Who GAF. They’ll have it for a year and won’t see it for another 3. Bono won a few with Enos recruits and a retread. Now it’s his last 4 classes of #5-6 ranked recruiting classes. Not impressed, not worried. Happy as hell theyre stuck with him for at least two more years.

Agreed. They beat us with a 5th year senior QB to our true frosh, in pouring rain with us committing several crucial turnovers at the absolute worst times. I've extended congratulations to them, they did beat us in our House. But if that's all they have in year 5 of the Bono Program then we have little to worry about. I remember the days when we weren't a strong scrimmage for loaded Herb Deromedi teams. Those days are lonnnnnnng gone!
