I think at the end of the college basketball season, a committee should pick the 4 teams they deem the sexiest and then they should wait 5 weeks into mid-April to play 2 semifinal games followed a week later with the championship game the last week of April. Sounds brilliant.

The other 60+ teams who aren't quite as sexy should all wait 3 to 4 weeks and play a game against another not-quite-sexy-enough team at some arena (or outdoors as it will be warming up in certain parts of the country in late March or early April). The winners get a trophy...and gluten free rice cakes along with unsweetened juice boxes handed out by a bunch local business people who hosted the game and wearing bright orange blazers and lime green britches. The loser of the games also gets a trophy as we don't want them to feel left out, but they don't get any juice boxes - unless the team mom's join forces to do so.
