Agreed. That was a tough field and SMU was very competitive.

SMU is definitely missing its senior leadership of the previous years. Shake, Ben, and Foster need to step up and lead this team. That was a painful final 5 minutes of idiotic mistakes and unforced errors.

Wow, Shake. What a bad tournament. He is having trouble adjusting to being the Alpha.

Shake needs to make the clutch shots. Can’t miss the front end of the one and one like that. Nic Moore would have drained those like it was his job.

I thought I heard the announcer say he was 92% from the line this year? Agreed that he has to hit that.

Yeah, outside of a few players stepping up at certain times, this has been a tournament defined by woeful performances by the proscribed leaders on the floor for SMU. Arizona win was big, but it happened with half the team still playing like ****. Need this team and the experienced players to start leading by their play. Expect a step up for conference play, but they better not **** the bed in the games before then.

With the way UCONN and MSU are running up and down the court, they're going to be exhausted by halftime.

I don't know if it's the coach or the lack of good old-fashioned five star Talent

What SMU really needs: the scholarships back.
We’ve done remarkably well with 6 and 7 man rotations for three years now. Give us a full complement of meal tickets and Our starters legs aren’t spaghetti last night.
This includes mental mistakes. That was an exhausted team last night.

We’ll continue to stumble a bit this year and the conference IS way better than last year. But SMU continues to trend up. If Shake and Jarrey stay for their senior years this team dominates next year. If not, we’ll still be really good.

I fell asleep right after halftime around 1 AM. Told there was lots of ref cheating, which makes sense given the final score. Can't wait til the Huskies get out of that trashy Pacific Time Zone. What an awful tournament schedule. No wonder West Coast teams suck so much. Everybody have a nice football Saturday with lots of NOON kick-offs!

BC Stookey must be so proud waking up and seeing that UCONN lost by 20 points last night.
