Same old out-of-tune song
Same old distressing story. The guys who are taking the shots are the guys who are not making shots.

Who has taken the most shots for us this year? Jones, Reedus and Lottie, who are shooting 34%, 35% and 31% respectively. By way of comparison, the team as a whole is shooting 41%. So three guys who are shooting at least 6 percentage points BELOW the team average are the guys who are doing the most shooting. (And they are not shooting well from the arc, either.)

Does this make sense to you? I always thought it was the guys who MADE shots who were supposed to be taking shots. Sounds to me like a formula to lose ballgames. Oh, well, that is what we have done, isn't it?

Haven't we heard this song before? Last year Marcus Johnson shot 38% overall and 32% from the arc, and the team as a whole shot 44% and 35%, but yet Johnson attempted 106 more shots than anyone else on the team.

Come on, Wes! The idea of coaching is not to let players do what they want to do, but to make them do what they ought to do.

There never has been any discipline on our team since he was hired. Wes needs to figure out how to get more out of his players or this will not get better.
