Yes he did.
I'm sure he mentioned us more than just for our P5 scalps, too, but ESPN just didn't list all the things he had to say.

Yes, he does. There's a UConn article that goes deeper into his rant.
Also, from the article:
"Aresco, one of the 10 FBS commissioners who compose the College Football Playoff's management committee along with Notre Dame athletic director Jack Swarbrick, pointed to Houston's wins over Oklahoma and Louisville last year, as well as the Memphis wins over Ole Miss (2015) and UCLA this year and a 30-6 regular-season record against other Group of 5 opponents over the past three seasons, as examples."

Respect isn't lobbied for, it is earned.
Aresco wonders what more the AAC has to do . . .
improve its members' SOS by improving the lower rated schools, then they can schedule higher rated opponents and have a positive impact on the conf's overall ranking.
Maybe he could encourage the ADs to work together, if they don't already, to help each other schedule OOC, i.e., contacts, friends, relationships.

Agreed there is zero chance that Aresco didn’t mention Memphis as well. Why wouldn’t he? He represents the entire AAC, and I know he is proud to have 3 teams in the Top 25. This is a glaring omission by ESPN, which is both sad and disturbing. Had the ball bounces the other way for Navy vs Temple and ND, they could be ranked as well. No reason the American conf shouldn’t have 3-4 teams in the Top 25 year in, year out. I do think there is a conspiracy by P5 regarding scheduling. If we don’t play P5 games on a regular basis, the AAC (top tier) will be on the outside looking in.

Please post the link to this article. Would be nice if Calkins, Sports247, and maybe President Rudd would write an article about the exclusion and light up social media as well.

Yes those 2 wins were mentioned.
But why all the USF love in his main talking points.
I just think UCF and Memphis has a better argument then UCF/USF

Maybe Rudd and 247, but Calkins is not going to upset his SEC readers of CAUSAToday.

I think that Aresco believes, and I agree, that we are ranked about where we should be. UCF being 15 is ridiculous. USF not being ranked at all is ridiculous.

AAC needs better bowl tie ins and a better tv package. It’s an uphill battle.
