Women going for 10th straight win
Again, I believe they have the 2nd longest win streak in the country in women's basketball, behind defending national champion South Carolina?

Anyway they're up 41-18 at the half at Sam Houston State. Erica Ogwumike already with a double double at the half (10 points, 11 rebounds). Friday at home is a decent test against Little Rock, but then tough road games this weekend at Kansas and Texas A&M.

Actually I think Sam will come back some on us in the 2nd half. They're better this year than they've been, but we should still win.

Go see them in person. They are exciting to watch. I hope more students will come out to their next games.

49 - 27 at 5:44 of 3Q. Love the perfect 12-12 from the charity stripe.

The ladies answered SHS's 8-0 run with a 12-2 run of their own to close out the 3Q: 62 - 35

Ogwumike (17 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists)
Iademarko (17 points, 8 rebounds)

I suspect the bench will see most of the action in the 4Q.

There's no score at all on ESPN.com.

RE: Women going for 10th straight win
The bench did play the majority of the 4Q, keeping in mind we only play 9-man rotation (with only 10 currently active on the roster).

Again, as I've said before, with the injuries that we've had, I'm not sure we have the depth to do much better than last year's squad (though an NIT bid would be a pleasant surprise), but next year's team could very well be a Top 25 - 35 caliber squad.

This year I'll try to catch a few games when I'm in town. Next year I'm planning to get season tickets and make a couple trips down to Houston specifically to watch these ladies play. The deserve our support.
